Thank you for stopping by. Welcome to our new website. Anderson Bushi Kai Freestyle Martial Arts (ABKFMA) is a martial art that is suitable for all ages.
It is an art that not only teaches self defence, but also the precepts of Bushido. Thus building strength in body, mind and spirit.
Self Defence
Self Confidence
Fitness
Flexibility
Coordination
Balance
Respect
Humility
Fundamentally, ABK builds the character of the person so that they can carry themselves with confidence (not look like a potential victim).
They have the skills and abilities to to defend themselves, those they love, and those that are unable to defend themselves.
We are a family of warriors who support, encourage and challenge each other to move our boundaries.
Life long friendships are made.
It also teaches that nothing is free and everything must be earned
Apart from these great character building traits, ABKFMA’s history is one that sees it incorporate Karate, Muay Thai, Weapon Systems, and other Jujistu systems. Making it a very effective martial art.
“ABK has been tried and tested in some of the hardest urban environments in Australia. It is a combat based martial art that also builds not only the body, but the mind and the spirit too.”
